Continental's machines
feature a unique bearing protection system which allows moisture to exit in
the case of a seal leak. It prolongs the life of the bearings, which enables
Continental to warranty the bearing and bearing seals for a period of 5 years.
Door lock components are mounted within the external door bar assembly to
further protect electrical components from moisture. Continental's washer
extractors also incorporate a rotating adjustable door gasket design which
allows for 180 degrees rotation of the entire door assembly. This doubles
the life of the gasket thus saving costly down-time associated with parts
and service.
